EDGECOURT

Terms of Service

Effective 25 July 2026 · Version 1.0

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and EdgeCourt, operated by an independent sole developer in Ontario, Canada ("EdgeCourt", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use EdgeCourt.

What EdgeCourt is. A statistical analytics tool. It compares publicly available sportsbook prop lines against model-estimated probabilities and shows you where the two disagree. It is not betting advice, not a tipping or handicapping service, and not a gambling operator. EdgeCourt does not accept wagers, hold funds, or process any money. Every decision you make with the analysis is yours alone.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 19 years old to use EdgeCourt, and you must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of sports-analytics tools, and any activity you undertake based on them, is lawful in your jurisdiction. We may restrict access in any territory.

2. Your account

Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, sold, or transferred. Sign-in uses one-time links sent to your email, so keeping your email account secure is your responsibility; anyone with access to it can access EdgeCourt as you. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

You may delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account inside the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and erases your profile, analyses, picks and usage records. Export your data first if you want a copy.

3. Licence to use EdgeCourt

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use EdgeCourt for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of any notes or other content you create in EdgeCourt. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the service for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it.

6. Our intellectual property

EdgeCourt, including its software, models, design system, interface, text, graphics, and the EdgeCourt name and logo, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you no right to use our trademarks, branding, or design without our prior written permission. Underlying sports statistics and odds are the property of their respective sources and are used as factual data.

7. Nature of the service — no guarantees

Every projection, probability, expected-value figure, and confidence rating shown in EdgeCourt is a model estimate, labelled as such in the product. Estimates are frequently wrong. Sportsbook odds and lines come from third parties and may be delayed, stale, incomplete or incorrect, and may not match what any book actually offers you.

Any accuracy record shown in the app describes past results only. Past performance does not predict future results. We make no representation, promise, or guarantee of profit, winnings, accuracy, or any particular outcome, and nothing in the app should be read as a recommendation to place any wager. Simulated or demonstration content is labelled as such and does not represent real results.

EdgeCourt does not provide financial, investment, legal, or professional advice.

8. Third-party data and links

The service depends on third-party data providers and may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, availability, or practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of a third party's service is governed by that party's terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using EdgeCourt.

9. Availability and changes

EdgeCourt is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature at any time, and we depend on third-party providers whose outages will affect the app. Usage limits apply and may be adjusted. We will try to give notice of material changes, but are not obliged to where a change is needed for security, legal, or operational reasons.

10. Fees

EdgeCourt is currently offered free of charge. If we introduce paid features in future, we will present the price, billing period, and cancellation terms clearly before you are charged, and no charge will be made without your express consent. Purchases made through an app store are additionally governed by that store's terms, and refunds are handled under that store's policy.

11. Termination

You may stop using EdgeCourt and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination your licence ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive — including sections 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 17 and 18 — survive termination.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EDGECOURT IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

Some jurisdictions, including under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act and comparable consumer laws, do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or conditions. Where that is the case, the exclusions above do not apply to you, and nothing in these Terms limits your non-waivable statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EDGECOURT AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY GAMBLING OR BETTING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY DECISION YOU MAKE BASED ON IT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) CAD $100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EdgeCourt and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and reasonable legal fees arising out of your misuse of the service, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

15. Responsible play

EdgeCourt is an analytics product, but we recognise the context in which it is used. If gambling has stopped being fun, or is affecting your finances, relationships, work, or wellbeing, free and confidential help is available:

16. Apple App Store terms

The following applies if you obtained EdgeCourt from the Apple App Store, and is required by Apple:

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to that venue — except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep any right you have to bring proceedings in your local courts and to the protection of your local mandatory consumer laws.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
